Hi All,
I can confirm that the 2013 Club AGM will be held on Thursday 5th December at the Ellersly house hotel. 7 for a 7.30 start.
With Batman and Don stepping down from their respective captaincy roles and there being no fixed captain for the 2s we will be looking for new captains in each of these positions. There may also be a vacancy in the player's representative role which is a position that involves coming to committee meetings and acting on behalf of the players.
Of course all roles are up for election so you can stand for election for any position but the club does have a gentleman's agreement that you let the secretary and the current post holder know first if you intend to stand.
If you have any questions about any post within the club then please dont hesitate to ask myself, Shielsy, Don or Andy as well as any old captains who will be able to give you more information. The club relies on members giving up their own time to allow the club to run smoothly so please think seriously about putting your name forward for a position.
I look forward to seeing as many of you as possible a week on Thursday.
