** CLUB AGM 2012 **

Hi Everyone,

I can confirm that the 2012 Club AGM will be held on Thursday 29th November at the Ellersly house hotel in the boardroom. 7 for a 7.30 start.

A number of roles will be up for election this year with the departure of Sam (1s), Andy (2s) and Dan (3s) from their respective roles. We need new guys in the club to step forward for these so if you are keen please speak to Sam, Andy or Dan to find out a bit more about what's involved during the season.

There may also be a few other roles up for election which i will let you know about once they have been finalised.

Of course all roles are up for election so you can stand for election for any position but the club does have a gentleman's agreement that you let the secretary and the current post holder know first if you intend to stand.

So keep the date in your diary and I look forward to seeing as many of you as possible on the 29th November.

** AGM POSTPONED ** - Due to some of the committee members being unable to attend the AGM this Thursday we have decided to postpone until the beginning of January. I'm currently awaiting confirmation but we are looking at either the Tuesday 8th January or Thursday 10th January at the same venue. I will let you know once this is confirmed.

Hi All,

This has now been rescheduled for Thursday 10th January 7pm for 7.30pm start at the Ellersly House Hotel.

I would like to remind all members that as a club we need others to put themselves forward for positions within the club otherwise we won't have a cricket club. I have only had one expression of interest in the advertised captaincy roles so far. So please think seriously about putting yourself forward for a captaincy role this season and let me know.

Anyway enough from me see you all on the 10th.
