I have decided to activate an account so I can fully explain my run outs! Number one: It was late into our innings and at this stage sweets and myself had decided that with 5 overs to go and wickets in hand that we would step up the run pace! I played a 'lovely' shot to the left hand of a right hand fielder! I was unlucky that the irish prixie was obviously ambidextrous and hit the stumps, like to add it was a close call.......umpire blinded by Dutch sun!!!!!! Result.........early tea!!!! Number two: know this one is painful.......sweets played a lovely straight drive, hard and flat back to the bowler. I was backing up, ready for action, when..........the dutch girl, stopped the certain four but in fielding the ball ran me out (not intentionally may I add!) Result..........bad mooded pickles!!!  Number three: Played a late nudge towards a deep gully......admired my shot....had a cup of tea.....made some scones....than ran........funnily enough I was run out!!!!! Moral of the story ...........don't watch your shot and run as soon as your told!!!!!! Result.........TEARS!!!!  That is my story! Please refrain from pissing taking............and no comments about the mid week friendly!!!!!!!!  Thanks |
