Good Afternoon,
Having finally surfaced from the Scrumpy induced haze of the last few weeks I thought I would drop you a line.
The move to the West Country has gone swimmingly (nothing to do with the flooding) and we are now living on the outskirts of Bridgwater.
This weekend sees me turn out for a new cricket club - Middlezoy CC - a village team on the Somerset levels, and for the first time in 3 years I'll not be able to shout "heads up Mufs" (I could but I might not get invited back!).
Anyway I have already mentioned the possibility of a future Mufs tour to these parts and Middlezoy seem very keen, particularly the local pub landlord - your reputations go before you. I would however fear for the safety of Nasty's ears if Gilly gets hold of the local apple based tipple.
Anyway 1's keep up the good work and 2's and 3's dig deep and those victories will come your way.
Cheers
Andy "Worzel" Cook
PS Middlezoy have had this great idea to keep all their equipment in a large container on the edge of the outfield.......genius
PPS Melv - the freezer of doom is filling rapidly

Hope they weren't rhino and lizard sandwiches from the Freezer of Doom. I would be suspicious of anything that tasted remotely like chicken!

Then again, "heads up Middlezoy" has a slightly anatomical ring to it. Lower abdominal. Perhaps. Unfortunantly Middlezoy's listed website came up with a nasty server error... but for Cookie-watch one can see their league progress from here: www.somerset-cricket.org.uk/scl_tables/division4_1stXI.aspIf touring that way then I think we would need a game versus North Curry or Curry Rivel too !
