Will sort the team in the next few days.
However please read Ian's post about the cost involved and length of the day - for the drivers it is realistically going to be a 7am start to make sure you are at Ardrossan by 9 at the latest.
Waiting for people as Ian S knows can provide challenges.

Okay team mates, the interested parties for this game are as follows:
Dan F Ian S Phil Y Phil H Sam F Vishwak S Madhu G Bharat N Mahesh S Raja Anand V Melvin C Lindsay T
13 players. As Phil Y has mentioned, we can let them know how many we have and possibly playing rolling subs. However, with this amount of players, we need to be sure that there are enough spaces in Cars to be able to accommodate all players. Can I assume the following people have cars (as per previous posts):
Phil H: 3 passengers? I know your car is small - ish? Phil Y: 3 passengers? I dont know how big your car is? Ian S: 2 passengers due to car being of the small japanese type? Lindsay T: 3 passengers? I dont know how big your car is?
If Phil Y and Lindsay can take an extra passenger each (i.e 5 people in each car including the driver) then we are sorted (will require seriously light kit from everyone!!). If not, then we will need an extra car or have to cut some players.
Phil, it will need to be an early start as you mentioned (7ish?) meeting point at Murrayfield hotel or other?
Let me know your thoughts team mates!!
Cheers,
Sam

Hi Sam,
Can definitely take three, four at a push. Can get two smallish kit bags in the boot. If someone can take the club kit then most people should be sorted and people shouldn't need to take much kit other than whites, box and bat.
Cheers

On a glorious day, the Sunday travelers recorded a two wicket win at Sannox Oval.
The whole party of 123 pitched up on time (7am) at the Murrayfield Hotel and traveled through to Ardrossan, sampled the full English on the ferry and were then ferried form Brothingy to Sannox.
Sam won the toss and put the home side in and they were bowled out for 71 but got up to 79 being allowed to bat thirteen. Wickets shared around and some interesting bowling. An excellent lunch was followed by a typical Murrayfield batting display 31 for 1 became 41 for 6 before Sam helped the team home with a massive six on the way to the winning runs.
Back to the Douglas Hotel on the front to drink in the beer and scenery; fish suppers all round and the ferry and cars home. A great day out - names for next year v being taken already.
Thanks to everyone who entered the spirit of a great day out and watch for pictures of the event from the official photographer who took time off to bowl an over !
