Unfortunately (but not untypically) we have been let down by the council - they have not delivered the loam or done the tining - so this weekend (2-3/10/2010) is a no go! We are aiming for next weekend (9-10/10/2010) and hopefully we will get a better response than we did for this weekend!!!

The club owes a debt of thanks to those who turned out (one from his sickbed) to help put the square to bed for the winter.
In alphabetical order, your thanks to Anand, Dan, Don, Iain, Ian, Paul, Phil, Sam and a special mention for Stephen Mulholland (father of one of our juniors) for the use of a flatbed truck that made an absolutely HUGE difference to the workload.
Everyone benefits from such work and it is a shame it is generally the same faces to turn out time and again to help. Where are the rest of you?

And jolly well done Paul and Don who co-ordinated things. I'll post some photos of the works too including previous weekends efforts - may prick the conscience of those who didn't help when they see the amount of stuff that needed shifted around!!
