Hi Guys,
Due to the persistent and forecast rain nets are off tonight. Anand has offered to run a net on thursday evening for those of you who are interested. Will probably start around half 6, let him know if your interested or just turn up on the night.
Captains will be in touch about the weekends games.

Anand offers to run a net on Thursday.... what happens on Thurs - totally chucks it down..... Rainman strikes again. Perhaps we can't mention the "A" name in public for fear of offending the weather gods? Maybe we should call him "the Indian Cricketer"* a bit like Macbeth** is referred to as "The Scottish Play" by theatre luvvie types? * or something else...... suggestions....  ? ** I didn't mean to use the M word.... |

More concrete evidence.......................
Last night, not really believing nets would be off and as the sun was shinning (honest) - made my way down to Roseburn with said Rainman to set up a net for the bowling machine.
Literally and I mean literally after the last click of the net in place it started to rain.. we waited and waited, after 45 mins, gave up and packed the net up again. Of course the rain almost immediately eased AND a mere 3mins drive away from ground it was bone dry!
Rainman - you are cursed!!
Go back to your childhood and think about all the evil things you have done with water! You must ask for forgiveness from someone....... PLEASE!...... It's not fair on the rest of us.
