On a cloudy but dry evening in the Meadows Mufs won the toss and elected to bat. A representative team contained 1 x 1st team, 2 x 2nd team, 7 x 3/4's plus Bharat, who has the distinction of having played for every team in the club this season! 4 retirals (Luke 30, 1 x 4, 1 x 6, must have been counting cos he hit the 6 on 24, Chris 28, 5 x 4, also counting 4 on 24, Saad 27, 4 x 4, 1 x 6, on his 16th birthday and Romil 25, 5 x 4, not counting) Bharat caught on 19, Dan 14no, Amir stumped on 7 and Dave 3no saw us to a challenging 161.
Despite only having 9 men (we had lent them fielders) OCCC put on a very creditable 122ao in reply. 2 retirals, both of whom came back in. Dan 2 wckts, Dave 2, Romil 1, Don 1 plus 2 run outs took us over the line. We did offer to let a couple of their batsmen bat again but as there were only 5 balls left and 39 required they declined. A very sociable and enjoyable game many thanks to OC.
