Consider yourself picked !!!!
For everyone else the next Sunday game is on the 25th at Bamburgh in Northumberland. It is a fantastic venue to play cricket.
We will probably meet at Market Street (back of Waverley Station) at 11.30am.
If you want to play leave a message on this thread or text me on 0774 927 7066

On a pleasantly warm afternoon in Northumberland, the Sunday side beat an understrength Bamburgh side by 138 runs.
We again travelled with 12 including Adi complete with glued finger.
We batted first and made 200 for 9 off 40 overs. Luke Hayes made 69 not out - 56 retired and 13 at the end. Adam Scott made 41, Bharat made 35 not out and the other contributions were Anand 18, Paul Leonard 11,Mel Clench 8, Amir 6, JP 4, Tom 1 and ducks for young Stuart Pringle and Adi. The skipper didnt bat !
We then bowled the home side out for 62 (batting 12) with an excellent display of bowling and fielding
Amir 4 - 9 3 Paul 6 3 4 2 Phil 2.3 1 1 2 Adam 5 3 4 1 Tom 4 2 6 1 Stuart 5 1 13 1 Bharat 4 1 7 -
There was a superb run out form JP who also took a catch as did Mel and Adam but the catch of the day went to a startled Tom at slip.
A good day out enjoyed by all I think
