Our next Sunday friendly is on the 11th of July when we head to Linlithgow to play West Lothian at Boghall.
They will field a side with a mixture of experienced and younger players and I would hope we would do the same.
The aim will be to start by 2pm and play 40 overs per side.
I would envisage the team meeting at the Murrayfield Hotel and leaving at 12.45pm.
Please tell your captains this weekend if you want to play or text me on 0774 927 7066.

The Sunday friendly XI recorded their first win of the season with an excellent 13 run win over a West Lothian XI at Boghall.
Bating first on the artificial wicket after winning the toss, we made 186 for 7 anchored by an excellent 64 from JP (before he retired). He added over 60 with Rommill (31) for the 7th wicket and Dave Clifford boosted the total with a quick fire 23 not out at the end.
The home side made a poor start losing four early wickets - Dave 3 and Rommill 1 but a long partnership put them back into the game before some excellent fielding and tight bowling saw us home by 13 runs with only 5 balls left.
Congratulations to 11 year old Mark Adamson for fielding well and two good overs and to dad Dougie for his first wicket in years !
