Apologies for duplicated thread - blame my dodgy interweb connection. If any clever people feel able to delete one of them then feel free...

Two late call-offs meaning that we are still one short for tonight - if you can make it, even a bit late, please let me know asap - text to 07876 673320. Even if you normally play lower down the club but can play tonight then please don't be shy - it's better than going out there with 10!
Cheers Tom

Reyaz has heroically stepped into the breach - good man. So we are eleven again! Hope to see some others down there to support.
Cheers Tom

Result from Soggy Meadows:
MDCC 160 for 2 (18 overs) Apna 41 all out (12 overs-ish)
Comfortable 119 run win in the rain for MDAFS against an 8-man Apna side - more than honourable mentions to Asif for defying a fever and pre-match car prang with 50-odd, and to Alan Patterson for taking a superb 5 for 7, with a ball resembling a particularly slippery bar of soap, to bring events to a merciful conclusion and allow us to get down to the serious business of sampling the fine ales on offer in Cloisters.
Next round against last years final opponents Edinburgh CC I believe, date tba.
Next competitive 20 over cricket is next Tuesday (18 May) against old sparring partners Holy Cross at Arboretum in the Masterton Trophy. Availability to Mangesh or via your Saturday captains please.
