MATCH OFF - Waterlogged pitch, rain forecast. might be rearranged if sufficient interest.
The next Sunday friendly and last scheduled one of the season, at present, sees us go over the water to Arran. This is not a trip to be sniffed at, or one to be undertaken after large amounts of drink have been taken the previous night as Nasty will testify.
Rough itineary:
Depart Edinburgh 7:30
Ferry departs Ardrossan 9:45 (arriving 10:40) - Cost £10
Collected from Ferry and taken to ground
Cricket v Sannox CC
Return to ferry post match for fish and chips
Return ferry departs Brothingy 7:20 (arriving 8:15)
Return to Edinburgh approx 10pm
Let it be said though that this is a wonderfully scenic place to play and has been enhanced with the completion of a pavilion at the ground.
