This game will be played at Newfield and opponents will be known once the other semi-final has been resolved.

The respective captains have agreed to go for next Monday (3 August) if we can get Newfield for that date. Parks Trophy officials are looking into that and I'll update on here as soon as I can.

Final now on evening of Wednesday 5 August at Newfield if we actually get some dry weather to allow us to play it. Team to be finalised this weekend.
Thanks Tom

PS Broon - any chance you could modify the title of this thread again to show the new date? Cheers.

Troops. For those of us not playing on Wednesday lets get down and lend the boys as much support as possible. No bar on site but plenty of local shops for liquid refreshment.

Hi all
Here's the 12 for tomorrow's Parks final:
1. Tom Wheeler (c) 2. Paul Hubbard (w) 3. Raja Sampath 4. Mangesh Akerkar 5. Sunny Dahiya 6. Regan Black 7. Raj Devanagere 8. Adam Scott 9. Luke Hayes 10. Jean-Pierre Cruz Rocha 11. Melvyn Clench 12. Phil Rogers
Please be at Newfield no later than 5.30pm as it will be a prompt 6pm start. As the National League team Edinburgh will start as favourites, but that suits us just fine. If we show the form that's taken us this far then we're in with a real chance.
And as Broon says, hope to see as many MDAFS supporters there as possible to cheer us on.
Cheers Tom

Sadly Mufs lost the final in a hard fought clash. Edinburgh scored 121/9 and Mufs got to 112/6 i think. The fading light certainly played its part but full credit to our boys for taking higher league opponents so far.
The boys then retired to the Stockbridge ex-Berts for post match beers and i imagine there are some other sore heads than mine today.
Lets get the job done in the Cow !!!
