This is just a message to enlighten you on the up and coming women's home fixtures. We have a lot of cricket this season and I know that support is always very much appreciated.
After the coverage of the women's game on sky I hope more will be interested to come and watch some women's cricket in action. We play our home games at Stirling County which is fully equiped with a fully stocked bar (if that swings it for some!)
I'll leave the dates of our home games below... if you are interested it would be lovely to see some people down (maybe!)
Sat 1 August Scotland v Devon New Williamfield Stirling
Sat-Sun 22-23 August Scotland v Staffordshire New Williamfield Stirling
Sun 30 August Scotland v Worcestershire at New Williamfield, Stirling
Sun 13 September Scotland v Derbyshire at New Williamfield, Stirling
love char xxxxxxxx ;D

I agree - please support the Wildcats as much as you can . . they are emerging as a force to be reckonned with in European/British women's cricket. This is a huge year, sorry I meant HUGE! year for women's cricket in Scotland; not only has the senior squad a full year of games against the English Counties following promotion to Division 3 at the end of a soggy 2008 but European Championships and a European Twenty/20 tournament ALL of which will have Muffers interest (one Miss C Bascombe). There is also a similar programme for our Women's Under-17s throughout 2009 which Lea and anothe Muffs club member will be involved in. Oh and not to mention that Cricket Scotland appointed a Girls and Women's Development Officer (our Lea Tsui) - the first for any of the Associate countries. Bit let's not spare blushes . . . . . . our Charl (Scotland's 1st choice wicket keeper and opening bat - not even 'Floppy' can be certain/boast of that accolade) is also being characteristically modest about her involvement in these and also a certain XI that she has been selected to play for in August . . . More to follow I'm sure!

These internationalists get a call up and suddenly think they're bigger than the rest of us. We'll have to make an appointment to speak to her soon. Or just not bother speaking to her at all.
