Next Sunday, 21st June will see the club celebrate its centenary. The forerunner in name terms of the club London Road CC was founded in 1909.
In the afternoon a 1st/2nds select will play an East President's XI whilst on the artificial wicket a 3rds/4ths select will play Morton.
Obviously we would like to turn out two strong teams for an afternoon of good cricket and fun.
Please tell your skipper of your availability or let me know - text 0774 927 7066 or e-mail philal83@btinernet.com

Quick update on this:
Raja is not actually available - communication breakdown there somewhere, apologies - and Regan is not sure if he can play but is keen to if possible.
Still room for some more so please let your captains know if you're up for a game. And if you're listed to play in error, please let one of us know asap!
Cheers Tom

A final call to arms - even if you're not already down to play, please come along to Roseburn for 12.30/1pm and we'll fit you in one of the sides.
No spikes please as a burst water main has left the main square out of commission and the artificial will need to be used. Players in 2nd game ve Morton are likely to decamp to the Gyle for their fixture (also on artificial), but just meet at Roseburn and we'll take it from there.
I'm not updating the thread about Saturday's fixtures and results until I've cheered up a bit - suffice to say the 1s didn't go all that well...
Cheers Tom
