Hi to all Mufs, young and old (Mostly old).
How is the new season shaping up over there? I've switched sides this year, playing for a team called Potomac, pitch is in sight of the Washington Monument (the huge phallus shaped thing you may have seen on TV) and I have the new ball again - which feels good. Started with a win, followed by throwing away a massively dominant position in game 2 (We scored 164, reduced them to 80-8, then let 'em back in to win it by 1 wicket with a six off the final ball. Bugger).
Chance I might be back over your way sometime in early August or thereabouts - hope to catch up with some of you!

Hi Nasty
Did you hear that the 1s beat Accies on Sunday? ;-))))))
End of season tour to America anyone? Accom would have to be better than Burtlins though (not a hard thing to do)

Would SOMEBODY please inform the Americans that "It's as American as apple pie" is a ridiculous phrase - do they really think that we never thought of putting apples in a pie before they popped up, the cheeky little upstarts? We put everything else in a pie, for god's sake.
