Well it'd have been nice to have the MLF season build to a huge climx but in reality the weather made it a bit of a damp squib. In fact after the last update only 10 games were played. And with most people having 1s and 2s players, point scoring was even lower.
However that said the final standings were very close.
League Table
(sorry if you can't see this but we'll get it onto the website too)
Adam and his team Cat Shiet eventually came out on top but it was by as small a margin as 8 points from Vimal and the D'Souzas. Indeed neither player scored any points in the final week and Paul Leon ards challenge fell short by just over 100 points.
Adam's winning score of 2388 just pipped the 2380 of Vimal due to the performance of Nadeem Amjid as far back as week 15, when he reclaimed top spot and held onto it as Vimal only made up 2 points in the last 3 weeks. Thought had Vimal picked a keeper who had collected any points instead of Pav it'd have been a different story.
At the bottom Henry pulled his team around from halfway to eventually finish 6th bottom. Ian Shiels maintained his poor showing but it was just enough to stay off the bottom.
So last place went to Mark Willliamson and the Border Bullets with 1093 points. Mark managed nothing in the last 3 week and finished 78 points behind Ian who scored 77 points in the last 3 weeks.
Well done Adam, must do better Mark.
As with the overall standings the top performers did not change very much at all in the last few weeks. Saying that Jigar used his catch points to climb to 3rd in the batting just ahead of a late charge by Banksy.
