Next midweek game is on Wed at 6pm away at Pfeffermill (Edin Uni sports grounds) versus an HBOS XI featuring the might of messers Leonard and Scott amongst their ranks.

Almost a wicket keepers convention!
Game will be played in usual midweek friendly spirit of 25 and retire - couple of overs each etc etc.

MDAFS v HBOS at Peffermill
MDAFS 139 for 6 off 20 overs - Tom Wheeler 31 retired, Jigar Patel 19, Neill Yelland 26, David Jamieson 30 retired; - Adam Scott 4-0-23-3 the pick for HBOS.
HBOS 120 all out off 20 overs - P Newton 20, B Dummone 23, R Newton 16, C Bryne 33 retired - Charlotte Bascombe 3-0-19-4 (on a hat-trick next game after bowling Mr Leonard first ball off the last delivery!), Abdul Reyaz 2-0-10-2, Ian Shiels 2-0-7-1; other MDAFS bowlers: Chris Brown 3-0-15-0, Asif Mohammed 3-0-12-0, Neil Yelland 2-0-15-0, Lindsay Towns 2-0-5-0, Jigar Patel 2-0-30-0, Tom Wheeler 1-0-8-0, and 3 run outs.
Good game played in great spirit. Comedy moment was the Donimator (who was on his work shift in the office) using the PA system to berate Mr Brown in the field.
Next midweek game is on Tues against Goblin Ha at Gifford (past Haddington) so players - and players with motors in particular - required.
