Tom]In case you weren't tempted already, I have heard tell of delicious teas at Dunnikier, as well as some additional post-match scran laid on in the hotel next door... Team , replete with darts-style nicknames for no obvious reason: 1. Tom "The Dealer" Wheeler 2. Ian "The Belly" Shiels 3. Adam "The V-Man" Scott 4. Chris "The Director" Banks 5. Chris "The Czech Geordie" Donaldson 6. Paul "The King of Swing" Leonard 7. Lea "The Queen of Seam" Tsui 8. Stuart "The Daddy" Coull 9. Neil "The Rebel" Yelland 10. Abdul "The Tornado" Reyaz 11. Chris "The Mag" Brown It's confirmed as a 40 overs per side game starting at 1pm, so please meet 11.45 sharp at the Murrayfield Hotel. If anyone other than Adam is planning to go direct, please let me know. Location of Dunnikier Park is shown on this here clever google map thingy. maps.google.co.uk/maps?hl=en&q=dunnikier+park+kirkcaldy&um=1&ie=UTF-8&sa=X&oi=geocode_result&resnum=1&ct=titleCheers Tom

I think Chris "the real Geordie" Brown and Tom "too posh to be a Geordie" Wheeler are more appropriate.

Sorry all - game cancelled as Dunnikier's pitch is saturated and no chance of it recovering in time for tomorrow. Another cricketless weekend for many of us I fear. Drat and double drat, to put it delicately.
Not to be deterred, there's another friendly next Sunday at Bamburgh - a stunning ground overlooked by Bamburgh Castle. It's a great one to play so please get in touch on the usual email/text if you want to put your name down.
Cheers Tom

Sorry you boys didn't make it through on Sunday. I was holidaying so wouldn't have been able to terrorise the lower order in any case.
Post match food at the hotel is pretty random could be chips, sandwhiches, curry but recently a Quiche came out from the kitchens: The beast was not amused.
The hotel bar is now called "The Cricketers" which is a nice touch.
Hopefully I'll be able to guest in a midweek Belly army 11 in a midweek game before the season is up.
Good luck to all muffers.
