Probably easier to predict who isn't going to win!

I'm with Pat Sharp - I don't think England will win either!
Most impressed with New Zealand's performance against SA. I think slow bowling will be a determining factor, and don't think Oz will win for that reason. Pakistan have had too many body-blows with the loss of Inzy, Shoab and Asif. And I don't think they have the spinners. SL don't have the depth of attack, and rely too much on Murali and Vaas.
The smart money has got to be on India with their home advantage, and strong seam and spin attack, and clutch of all rounders. But only if they bat a bit more sensibly.
One surprise has is the low scores so far.

Is there a "don't care, it's a poxy one-day tournament with no purpose in life" option?
Nice analysis though, Wardy - I reckon Sky Sports News will be on the phone any day soon!

I'm not sure that England really have enough batting depth!
Forgive me for I haven't seen a lot of the England domestic season but who is this Yardy fella batting at 5? If that is the best number 5 you have..... surely Collingwood should have batted above him!

Michael Yardy... a successful year with the County Champs but even Sussexmen like me are not terribly convinced he should be playing international cricket. Unlucky decision today but he looks out of his depth i-m-o. And batting above Colly? What is Fletcher/Fred thinking of?
Why on earth are we persisting with Harmy who is obviously struggling in the one-day game. At time of writing 2 overs and 26 conceded. Oh dear.
Does England have a strategy for the World Cup (never mind for this tourney) or are we being a little blinkered with the upcoming clash with our chums down-under.
PS Hello to all our Aussie Mufs.
