Cheers Sutha - makes good reading. No let-up now boys.
Not too surprisingly, it's an unchanged 1st XI to play Holy Cross, again at Muirhouse, on Saturday. You all know you're playing so no need to reconfirm. Meet 12pm please for a 1pm start.
To confirm the side, in traditional non-order:
1. Tom Wheeler (c) 2. Ian Shiels (vc) 3. Paul Hubbard (wk) 4. Melvyn Clench 5. Mangesh Akerkar 6. Raj Sampath 7. Regan Black 8. Mohammed Asif 9. Adam Scott 10. Sutha Rangaswamy 11. Jean-Pierre Cruz Rocha
Nothing soft about our old sparring partners HX, so don't be misled by the league table - we need to show at least the same levels of skill and application as last week if we're to keep the good run going.
As ever, the very best of luck to all four teams.
Cheers Tom

4s v Penicuik 3s
Match abandoned after 14 overs in drizzle becoming heavy rain. Mufs batting had begun well with the score on 46-1 with Nick Hill out for 8, but Jigar Patel (26*) and Irfan (4*) and 8 extras moving the score along nicely.
The rest of the drowned rats were Wilkie, Leonard, Yelland, Bascombe, Piggott, and the 3 Chris's of Arnold, Richardson and Brown.

Splendid performance by our bowlers after being hit for 55 runs in first 10 overs! Well we were ahead of the run rate throughout this match. 4 more over and we could have won this match on D/L format. Largo were reluctant to stay on the field What a contrast between two teams! When we were in similar situation @stirling …we stayed on the filed to allow Stirling 20 points. Well done boys ….keep up the good work.
