A big game as Fauldhouse are above us in the table at present. A win would put us right in the mix.

And an added incentive for Saturday (only applies to Division 1 I'm afraid) - as revealed by El Secretario this morning:

"I have just had word from cricketscotland that anyone getting 5 wickets or scoring 50+ runs in the SNCL or the West and ESCA Division 1s will earn themselves a a case of pint bottles of Magners Irish Cider to celebrate Mid-Summer's Day.

MDAFS1 v Fauldhouse1 - game abandoned after 18 overs of MDAFS reply to Fauldhouse's 164 ao (50 overs). Darren Mulligan top scored with 41 for FCC, Raj took 3-40 off his 10, Mangesh 2-23, JP 2-34, Asif 2-18, and Tom 1-23. In reply we were 53 for 2 when the rain got too heavy. Regan well set on 30 not, Asif 14 not, OMH dismissed for 3 and Mangesh for 1. Interestingly poised one could say.
I'm blaming Magners and their bloody promotion for the rain!

MDAFS II lost to Stirling on a rain curtailed match on the basis of run rates.

MDAFS II batted first scoring 195/10 in 49.4 overs.
Stirling made 171/2 at 37.2 overs when the rain which was already pretty heavy made the conditions dangerous to play.
