Hi all There's a 40 over per side friendly at Berwick next Sunday 1 June. Those who've been before will know it's a good one to play - nice ground, competitive but friendly opposition, tasty tea and (injury permitting) an excellent chance of Mr Belly sporting his gleaming white chav trousers. Which is, I'm sure you can imagine, a sight to behold. If you fancy a game, please email me at imsorryihavent@cluemail.com, text me on 0787 667 3320 or speak to me at nets tonight. Thanks to those who've already confirmed availability to your Saturday captains, I'll be in touch with you this week to let you know the arrangements. Cheers Tom

Hello again
Thanks to those who've put their names forward for Sunday. We're still in need of players so this is a further call to arms. It's a really nice fixture to play and a chance to get a good bat and/or bowl to stake your claim for future league selection.
(And for those of you who fear the wrath of wives/partners for playing twice in a weekend - you could mention to them that Berwick is a very nice place for a relaxing Sunday afternoon out...)
Cheers Tom

Forecast looking distinctly dodgy for this afternoon but still on as things stand. Will speak to Berwick CC contact before we set off to try to minimise chances of a wasted trip.
Current plan though is still to meet 11.45 at Market Street. Will text round if anything changes.
Cheers Tom

Game cancelled due to rain at Berwick and near certainty of further deluges.

We may try to rearrange for later in the season if both clubs' fixtures permit. Either way, they're keen to keep the fixture going for next season.
Sorry to all those who got most of the way into town before the game was called off, but at least it's better than getting most of the way to Berwick to the same end.
