[glow=red,2,300]2s BATTING[/glow] Well done to Ali for coming top, and particularly noteworthy Nadeem, who came fourth but only played three games averaging 52.00 with the willow. POS | NAME | PLAYED | INNINGS | N. O. | RUNS | AVE. | 1 | Ali Amjid | 13 | 13 | 1 | 204 | 17.00 | 2 | Sutha Rangaswamy | 7 | 7 | 0 | 181 | 25.86 | 3 | Andy Gray | 5 | 5 | 0 | 158 | 31.60 | 4 | Nadeem Amjid | 3 | 3 | 0 | 156 | 52.00 | 5 | Sasid Sengodan | 15 | 14 | 1 | 138 | 10.62 | 6 | Matt Boyd | 7 | 7 | 0 | 126 | 18.00 | 7 | Danny Abraham | 6 | 6 | 0 | 100 | 16.67 | 8 | Lindsay Towns | 8 | 8 | 0 | 80 | 10.00 | 9 | Andy Lacey | 3 | 3 | 0 | 76 | 25.33 | 10 | Darren Kidd | 2 | 2 | 0 | 75 | 37.50 |
Highest score for the season was Sutha's 80 against Dunfermline. Nobody got a century, and there were only 7 x 50s in all - Andy Gray and Nadeem both scored two apiece. Sasid was the only player to take part in all 15 games, and the only game in which he didn't bat was Holy Cross when he skippered! His 14 innings was also the most. Ali and myself played 13, while Tony played 12. Tony and Norman Allan were each unbeaten in 3 games. [glow=red,2,300]2s FIELDING[/glow] Top fielders were harder to calculate as catchers were not always listed! Paul Hubbard was top of those attributable with 4 catches and 4 stumpings, and Lindsay Towns with 8 catches. I took 6 catches, and Sasid took 5 plus 1 stumping.

[glow=red,2,300]2s BOWLING[/glow] Now done the 2s bowling stats for the season. Again, some interesting and surprising figures! Tony and Sutha came joint top of the wicket takers with 13 victims each. Norman Allan just behind with 12, and then the surprise - me, with 11!! The workload on Tony was huge, bowling 131 overs, nearly twice as many as the next men, Norman with 70 and me with 62.3 overs. 35 of those by Tony were maidens! But unsurprisingly given the number of overs he bowled, Tony also conceded the highest runs for the 2s with 373. The best economy rate was by Adam Scott, who only played one game, with 2.20rpo closely followed by Oscar Prabhakar with 2.39rpo. Oscar's economy is particularly impressive as he only played two games, and one of those was the last game of the season against League winners Carnegie, who scored 199 in 40 overs (and lost!!). The best average was Nadeem's whose 6 wickets cost 12.33. No one managed 5 wickets in an innings, the best bowling being Norman Allan's 10-2-20-4 at Muirhouse against Dunfermline Carnegie when we would have managed to defend just 88 had we taken our catches POS | NAME | O | M | R | W | AVE | 1= | Sutha Rangaswamy | 52 | 10 | 179 | 13 | 13.77 | 1= | Tony Simpson | 131 | 35 | 373 | 13 | 28.69 | 3 | Norman Allan | 70 | 18 | 164 | 12 | 13.67 | 4 | Martin Ward | 62.3 | 5 | 326 | 11 | 29.64 | 5 | Ali Amjid | 56.2 | 5 | 261 | 8 | 32.63 | 6= | Nadeem Amjid | 23 | 6 | 74 | 6 | 12.33 | 6= | Arnav Singh | 21.2 | 2 | 80 | 6 | 13.33 | 8= | Norman Baikie | 31 | 5 | 111 | 5 | 22.20 | 8= | Matt Boyd | 44 | 7 | 155 | 5 | 31.00 | 8= | Stuart Coull | 49 | 5 | 229 | 5 | 45.80 |

End of season tables and stats now updated on ESCA website. A dip in form for the second half of the season means no place in the Division 7 hall of fame for the Donmeister. Which is a shame.

The first (hopefully not of many) ammendments to the 3's stats.
Eagle eye Fotheringham believes that the best 9th wicket partnership of the season was actually between Messers Martin and Fotheringham at West Lothian where they put on a healthy 45 runs.
