4 victories to report for the midweek side:
- First a fine effort vs HBOS, me with 27n.o. as we posted just over 100 and won by about 15 or so
- Second a superb win vs Kirkbrae, Melv the hero with 48n.o.
- Third a terrific performance vs Leith, Claypole the destroyer with a massive 80 ... thanks for skippering both of these, Mr Wheeler
- Fourth a fantastic victory vs Currie & Balerno - after bowling them out for 66 (all 9 of them), with JNB taking the worst double-wicket maiden I've ever seen first up in his 3-13. Then a big wobble as we faltered to about 18-5 or something, before Edwin (25n.o.) & JNB (30n.o.) rescued us with a very fine partnership to win the game.
The chastity belt challenge was sadly rained off.
Next game is Holy X next Wednesday.
