Hi guys, We are in the process of arranging a mid-week game against the Desert Youth Club of India, following a successful and enjoyable match against them the last time they were here in 2003. (See photos on main page) We have pencilled in Wednesday 20th June at Muirhouse for a 40-45 over match. Obviously work commitments etc may hinder availabilty but if you could let Me, Keith, Cookie or Wardy know how you are placed for this ASAP it would be much appreciated so we can get it confirmed. It should be an enjoyable day, certainly more enjoyable than working, for tales of the last time they were here speak to any one of this bunch of Muffers - www.murrayfield-dafscc.co.uk/mdcc_dyc_photos.htmThanks

Daddy, I would love another crack at the Desert Youth, they may play a test player again!
Hopefully Muirhouse would be another "firecracker" pitch!

How early could people play from? We also have a small matter of being scheduled to play Holy Cross that evening too !!! So what do you think about say a 35 over game during the day starting at 12pm ... then afterwards some tea... then a 20:20 (perhaps combined Holy Mufs team) versus DYC game in the eve?? Just a suggestion not a firm proposal but comments? ?

I could make from 1p.m. You could still start a 35 over match at that point and play the 20-20 game starting 6:30. Possibilities of an outdoor tea/bbq?

Hello again!!
We've lost The Desert Youth Club. Last seen in Belfast. Where they are now is anyone's guess. Not Edinburgh anyway so no game tomorrow I'm afraid.
Sorry!!
