After a memorable day in Northumberland, we travel to the Isle of Arran next Sunday to take on Sannox. An exciting trip at one of the world's most scenic grounds! Ferry times mean an early departure from Edinburgh, though also an early return home.
1) Martin Ward CAR 2) James Ward 3) Phil Yelland (going direct) 4) Neil Yelland (direct) 5) Muhammed Junaid 6) Cameron Anson (direct) 7) Adeel Raza 8) Ali Amjid CAR 9) Charlotte Bascombe CAR 10) Ian Shiels CAR 11) Chris Donaldson
A few people are going direct, while those without a car will need to arrange transport with someone.

TRAVEL ARRANGEMENTSWe need to be at Ardrossan in time to catch the first ferry of the mornins, so I would suggest arriving no later than 0920 at Ardrossan. Ardrossan is approx 77 miles from Edinburgh with a journey time of 1hr40. I would suggest those travelling as passenger contribute at leaswt £5 to the driver's costs!! AA Route Planner - www.theaa.com/travelwatch/planner_main.jspRAC Route Planner - www.rac.co.uk/web/routeplanner/The ferry terminal is well signed in Ardrossan, and there is plenty of parking there to leave your vehicle. We can buy tickets for the ferry from the terminal at a cost of £8.75 return per person. Cars are an additional £53.00 plus each passenger. The ferry is operated by Caledonian MacBrayne and departs Ardrossan at 0945 arriving at Brodlck on the Isle of Arran at 1040. www.calmac.co.uk/summer-arran-timetable2.htmlAt Brodlck, we will be met by people from Sannox CC who will kindly transport us and kit to the ground, and then return us after the match. Return ferries are at 1545, 1640 and 1920 from Brodlck taking 55 mins.

Would it be worth having a meeting point somewhere on the west side (and I don't mean Ardrossen?)
