Notice of AGM to be held on Thurs 6 Nov.
Formal note from El Sec:
As per the constitution, as Club Secretary of Murrayfield DAFS Cricket
Club I hereby invite all members to the 2008 Annual General Meeting to
be held on Thursday 6 November 2008. The meeting will take place at
Muirhouse CSSA Clubhouse at 7.30pm (bar open from 7pm).
Motions are now invited from members. These must be received by the
secretary at ijmartin@talk21.com by Tuesday 4th November to be
considered. Motions should ideally include a Proposer and a seconder -
although the seconder can be obtained on the night.
If you would like to get more involved in the running of the club then
you can apply to be elected onto the committee.
All official positions of the club can be applied for even if the
standing official wishes to continue in post. If this situation arises a
vote will take place on the night. Below is a list of the current
committee. If wish to apply for election to any of these posts, please
let the secretary know at ijmartin@talk21.com, ideally by Tuesday 2nd
November. Applicants will be accepted after this date but the committee
would request that all members observe the club's gentleman's agreement
to at least let the post-holder know of your intentions to stand for
election.
